This is my beach. Actually, it's officially the dog beach, but whatever. I don't mind sharing it with the dogs at all.

Melting glass and playing with fire - that's my happy place. When I don't have the time to do that, I make other stuff: jewelry, paintings, gardens, photographs of my dog and kid and cat and flowers and trees and birds… stuff... Every year is a new adventure… this year’s challenge is homeschooling and trying to find some balance with that and life and art. Plus chickens, backyard chickens. My hands are full. I dream of the beach... sand... flip-flops... sunshine, and sometimes orcas.

Wow! Those are the Olympics in the distance, aren't they? In my many journeys to Seattle, and few to the peninsula, I never seem to get a clear day to see those. But I get to hear many a story about kayaking in the San Juans with the Olympics in the background.
This is so fabulous...I can't imagine being able to enjoy this in person. You are soooo blessed. Enjoy it for me too, ok?
