Melting glass and playing with fire - that's my happy place. When I don't have the time to do that, I make other stuff: jewelry, paintings, gardens, photographs of my dog and kid and cat and flowers and trees and birds… stuff... Every year is a new adventure… this year’s challenge is homeschooling and trying to find some balance with that and life and art. Plus chickens, backyard chickens. My hands are full. I dream of the beach... sand... flip-flops... sunshine, and sometimes orcas.

Love your vignette and I think the bird cage is perfect with your raven. I wouldn't have thought of that. Great idea!
thanks Jen! I think I might take the little birdies out of the cage - the more I think of it, the less I like the idea of caged birds. But I love the old wooden bird cages... there is another out there, but it's a lot more than $5 and I don't think dear hubby would understand my purchasing it at this point in time when the house needs so many real things like walls and tubs and tiles, etc.
