A falling-down 1933 cottage gets a new lease on life. Or ... that's the plan.

Studio Build, Day 3
Doesn't look like much, he wasn't here for very long though, so it would be hard to expect a wall or anything. I did get a floor, I shouldn't complain. Maybe more tomorrow.
It is hard, having a vision and then having it meet with reality. But the porch sounds like a plus. We have an outbuilding in our back yard - used as a shed. It was not lifted high enough off the ground and the flooring is rotting and starting to cave in and we are not prepared to do anything $-wise with it right now, so it is OFF LIMITS. It sounds like your builder knows what he is doing. I can't wait to see some walls, too!
Melting glass and playing with fire - that's my happy place. When I don't have the time to do that, I make other stuff: jewelry, paintings, gardens, photographs of my dog and kid and cat and flowers and trees and birds… stuff... Every year is a new adventure… this year’s challenge is homeschooling and trying to find some balance with that and life and art. Plus chickens, backyard chickens. My hands are full. I dream of the beach... sand... flip-flops... sunshine, and sometimes orcas.

You can do a 'happy dance' on the floor while you await the walls. I hope the weather holds for you until you are the proud owner of a studio roof!!
