Melting glass and playing with fire - that's my happy place. When I don't have the time to do that, I make other stuff: jewelry, paintings, gardens, photographs of my dog and kid and cat and flowers and trees and birds… stuff... Every year is a new adventure… this year’s challenge is homeschooling and trying to find some balance with that and life and art. Plus chickens, backyard chickens. My hands are full. I dream of the beach... sand... flip-flops... sunshine, and sometimes orcas.

I set your giant flower photo as my desktop image, I hope that's okay. The previous image has been some crocuses you photographed a few months ago, so it seemed fitting to replace it with another image from your camera! I'm a flower lover, and your flower photos are just amazing!
Thanks Janelle! Oh, they do make great desktops, don't they? You are more than welcome to use them :) The giant flower is a clematis that is growing in a big wild vine up next to my back door and over the chimney. I should take a picture of the whole thing, it's one of my favorite plants in the yard.
